About a Being Workshop

A workshop allows you to experience well-being
and leaves you with new insights into well-being and the inspiration and techniques to acquire greater well-being.
Workshop groups are ideally limited to 30 persons as the techniques are most efficiently taught in small groups.

There are three workshop modules to choose from.
These modules are comprehensive stand-alone units that form a synergistic course,
and is based on an aims, objectives and outcomes model that supports integrated learning.
Each workshop consists of a 30 minute presentation on the Five Keys to Well-being, or its relevance
to the specific workshop topic, and a 60 minute self-help skills teaching session.

• Module 1 - Five Keys to Well-being
Change the way you move, look, think and feel:
Good posture, effective breathing, improved mobility, stress
management and healthy lifestyle habits create youthful vitality and functionality

• Module 2 - Relax and Rejuvenate
Effective, integrated lifestyle practices based on the Five Keys to Well-being
releases body stress and clears the mind for rejuvenating rest and increased productivity

• Module 3 - Stress Management
Release and manage stress by understanding body-mind stress cycles
and applying simple, effective integrated lifestyle practices based on the Five Keys to Well-being

Take a minute to manage your stress when under pressure:
Deep stretching accompanied by effective deep breathing alleviates physical and mental stress

A series of workshops may be presented as a one or two day course with, for example
two modules in the morning, and one in the afternoon if over two days.

Venue requirements

The workshops may be presented at a venue of the client's choice,
or see the workshop schedule for attending an scheduled workshop.

An ideal venue has comfortable seating and enough floor space for each attendant to stretch
and lie down. Course attendants are required to bring a blanket and pillow.

Who may attend?

Any person of any level of fitness and reasonable health may attend.
Please note that a Being workshop is not a yoga session, and does not require prior experience of yoga,
or any degree of fitness. All content is of a strictly non-religious nature.
